Editor’s note: We love getting in the mood for the festival by previewing the best artists to watch. This post is the second of a series covering the best talent at the fest. Listen now, then add these acts to your festival schedule. This first round of artists to watch comes from @atxconcert.

Domo Genesis
Dominique Marquis Cole, better known by his stage name Domo Genesis, is an American rapper from Los Angeles, currently signed to Odd Future Records. He is a member of that alternative hip-hop collective Odd Future and sub-group MellowHigh.
Casey Veggies
Casey Veggies, is an American hip-hop recording artist from Inglewood, California. Since 2007, he has released five independent mixtapes under LA clothing and management company Peas & Carrots Intl. His most recent mixtape, Fresh Veggies, was released on December 16, 2013. His debut studio album, Live & Grow, was released on September 25, 2015.

Lady Leshurr
Lady Leshurr is a rapper, singer and producer from Kingshurst, Solihull, England. She is best known for her Queen’s Speech series of freestyles, the fourth of which went viral in 2015. Her subsequent freestyle, Queen’s Speech 5, was called “brilliant” and “2015’s crowning freestyle” by Spin.

QUE
After dropping singles like “OG Bobby Johnson” and collaborating with the crew Migos, Atlanta’s Que signed with the major-label Atlantic, courtesy of mixtape maven DJ Drama. Born in Kansas City but raised in Atlanta, the raspy-voiced rapper is most known for the street single “Young N*ggas”.

Snootie Wild
Snootie Wild is an American recording artist and rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. He is best known for his debut single “Yayo”, which helped launch his career. The song charted in both the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts.

Sy Ari Da Kid
Sy Ari Brockington, better known by his stage name “Da Kid,” and now, “Sy Ari Da Kid,” was born in Bronx, NY and moved to the Northside of Atlanta, GA at the age of 9. Much like his personality, his music is a unique blend of the two cultures and cities both of which he considers home.

Jay IDK
Jay IDK hit the net with his debut album, SubTrap, in August of 2015. it’s been making waves for the Boise native ever since. With his goal being to link conscious rhymes with trap music lyrics and delivery, a wide array of ground is to be covered.

Rome Fortune
Rome Fortune is an American hip-hop recording artist from Atlanta, Georgia, who rose to prominence after the release of his Beautiful Pimp mixtape in 2013. Influenced by a diverse range of musical traditions, Fortune has released 6 EPs and has collaborated with a number of artists from the Atlanta hip hop scene, including OG Maco and iLoveMakonnen.
