New Venue for 2014: The City Terrace at the Long Center
This FREE and open-to-the-public event will run Friday, March 7 through end of the day on Sunday, March 9 at the City Terrace at the Long Center for the Performing Arts and focus heavily on hands-on activities for the entire family.

A Look Back at Our Innovative 2013 Exhibitors
The 2013 edition of SXSW Create was proudly presented by Autodesk, the leader in professional and personal 3D design, engineering and entertainment software. Renowned and eclectic participants included: AMOA-Arthouse, ATX Hackerspace, ATX Hardware Meetup, Austin Mini Maker Faire, Awesome Foundation Austin Chapter, Board Forge, Boosted Boards, College of Lockpicking, Cut/Paste/Grow, Growerbot, Instructables, Lynx Laboratories, Lytro, MIT Media Lab, Plastic Storm Sculpture by George Sabra, SparkFun, Tech Shop Austin, Texas Instruments and more.
The above participants perfectly complemented the DIY, Maker and Hacker track of programming at the SXSW Interactive confab, complete with Opening Remarks from MakerBot’s Bre Pettis and the launch of the Digitizer Desktop 3D Scanner.
