Startup Night SXSW is an Official SXSW event, so please note that Badge Holders will have priority entering the venue.
- OPPORTUNITY TO SKIP THE LINE
If you’re a founder or leader, you and your team have an opportunity to skip the line! Look for the Pledge 1% question when you RSVP, take the pledge, and you’ll be able to scoot into Startup Night via the Pledge 1% Express Line.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes. Attendees must be 21 years old to enter the venue.
Is this an official SXSW event?
Yes. Startup Night SXSW presented by Eventbrite is free and open to the public. Badges are preferred.
What else is taking place at the Startup of the Year House?
11:30 AM – 2 PM | Startup of the Year Rooftop Pitch & BBQ presented by Established
Watch 25 startups fast-pitch on the roof! The Top 5 will move the next round (see below).
4:30 PM – 7 PM | Startup of the Year SXSW Finals & Happy Hour presented by Sandoz
The Top 5 Finalists pitch live in front of a panel of esteemed judges. The winner(s) will win a fast-track opportunity to the Startup of the Year fall event. Guests will also be a part of the big announcement of the winner of the Sandoz Healthcare Access Challenge.
