This spring, Milwaukee will be showcasing its musical & cultural brand at the nationally renowned South by South West (SXSW) music, film, and interactive festival/conference held in Austin, TX. Heavily attended by the world’s leading heads of industry (music, culture, tech) our intent at SXSW is to generate national buzz around what we believe to be a talent rich and culturally diverse city. Working together to bridge both real and stigmatic barriers, we aim to advertise our strengths through the arts. It is our hope that the world will take notice, and that a long overdue spotlight can at last be justly cast upon our city.

To contextualize the event simply, we shall be host to a full day of Milwaukee supported and Milwaukee raised music in the heart of SXSW. From 11am – 2am, Wednesday March 12th, the MILWAUKEEHOME STAGE will be host to 25+ artists to be featured throughout the entirety of the day in support of our mission.
