Angelo Moore is best known as the frontman of L.A. ska band Fishbone, but he has also started a new project called Angelo Moore and the Brand New Step. The amalgamation of guest musicians will be playing Altercation Records‘ 4th annual Punk Rock BBQ on March 15th at the Vortex in Austin, Texas.
This yearly event has become the must-attend matinee show for punk fans visiting Austin during South By Southwest. And as in previous years all ages are welcome, admission is free, and there is also free beer and BBQ while it lasts, so there are plenty of reasons not to miss this show.
Other bands that have been confirmed for the BBQ are Washington DC hardcore actWalk the Plank, and Corpus Christi ska punks The Avenue Rockers, New Red Scare, The Obvious and The Grizzly Band.
