iHeart Austin jazzed to bring you an AWESOME lineup this year for their 3rd Birthday Bash! iHeart Austin is expanding to TWO days of kickass and FREE music at Maggie Mae’s Gibson Room, Friday and Saturday March 18 and 19 from 11am to 5:30pm!
FRIDAY: iHeart Austin starts with a showcase for everybody’s favorite scrappy Austin label, Modern Outsider, with four of their fine acts: Austin’s Quiet Company and Moving Panoramas, Louisiana’s Brass Bed, and all the way from the U.K.: The Crookes! They also have Los Angeles buzz-band Phases, Juno Award-winning Canadians Arkells, and their favorite new bunch outta Brooklyn, Beverly!
SATURDAY: Right outta the chute with two of their best local Austin outfits, The Rocketboys and Night Drive! Lotsa L.A. on Saturday with The Heirs, XYLO and Blondfire, and a killer new band from Australia: Pretty City!
Once again, all of this is FREE – You don’t need a badge, a wristband, or a ticket – but they DO recommend you show up early, as they expect the room to fill and they don’t want you to end up standing in line! Maggie Mae’s is at 6th and Trinity downtown, and the Gibson Room is best entered from Trinity Street.
