The list of official artists keep growing daily, but this list is more about who hasn’t been announced yet, but might play at the fest. By looking at tour schedules and following artist rumors, @ATXConcert brings you the best guesses for fest additions.

MARTIN GARRIX: Martin Garrix is a Dutch DJ, record producer and musician. In March he starts touring across the US and only has festivals on his schedule. He is completely open to show up in Austin.

THE KILLERS: We know they were just here for ACL Festival. We know that they are out of the Country on their Wonderful Wonderful World tour until mid May. But they have a nice gap between their Europe and Latin America dates. They might pop up in Austin from March 8 – March 14.

GRYFFIN: Gryffin is an American DJ, record producer and musician. He gained recognition for remixing some well-known songs such as Tove Lo’s “Talking Body”, Maroon 5’s “Animals” and Years & Years’ “Desire”. He is at Buku Festival on 3/9 and 3/10, and then is available to pop up at our fest from March 11-16.

SMASHING PUMPKINS: Rock legends lead by Billy Corgan. They recently announced their Shiny and Oh So Bring tour which does come to Austin, Houston, and Dallas in July. That doesn’t count them out, they are completely open all of March, I could see them headling Media Temple.

VAMPIRE WEEKEND: Indie pop band out of NY, most known for hits “A-Punk”, “Unbelievers”, and “Step”. On January 31 it was announced that the band would be headlining the UK music festival End of the Road. The festival runs from August 31 to September 3 and mark Vampire Weekend’s first return to the stage in 4 years. It seems unlikely, but their schedule is clear for the entire festival.

JOSH TURNER: Josh Turner is an American country singer and actor. He is scheduled in Austin during South By to perform at the Austin Rodeo on March 10. His schedule is wide open through March 16. I could see him popping up at the SXSW Outdoor Stage at Lady Bird Lake.

GRIZZLY BEAR: Grizzly Bear is an American rock band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2002. They have availability to pop up from March 15-18 before they play at Houston’s In Bloom Festival on March 24.

HOUNDMOUTH: Houndmouth is an American alternative blues band from New Albany, Indiana. They have a curious South By sized gap before they head to Houston to perform at In Bloom Festival.

CUPCAKKE: Raunchy Chi-Town rapper just dropped her third album “Ephorize” in January. She has a show at Houston Underground on March 15. In Texas during the fest = extremely likely that she will come through. Gaps in her tour: 3/8-3/14 and 3/15-3/18.

TALIB KWELI: American hip hop recording artist, entrepreneur, and social activist. Kweli earned recognition early on through his collaboration with fellow Brooklyn rapper Mos Def, when they formed the group Black Star. Looks very likely that He will show up during SX. He is scheduled in Dallas on 3/20, with open dates from March 14-18.

JOSH ABBOTT: Josh Abbott is a country singer out of Texas. He is scheduled in Austin during South By to perform at the Austin Rodeo on March 10. His schedule is wide open through March 16. He better come represent for our Lone Star State. I could also see Mr. Abbott showing up at the SXSW Outdoor Stage at Lady Bird Lake.
