The list of official artists keep growing daily, but this list is more about who hasn’t been announced yet, but might play at the fest. By looking at tour schedules and following artist rumors, @WhoaCo brings you the top guesses for fest additions.

Mura Masa: The art pop nu disco artist has been making waves since his late 2016 release of Love$sick with A$AP Rocky. With his career amping up and a release of his debut self titled album in 2017, he is primed to have a huge 2018. He’ll be appearing one state away at BUKU Music Festival the week before the fest and has an open schedule after that. We suspect this is a great opportunity for him to make an appearance at this years festival.

King Krule: After a nearly 4 year hiatus under the King Krule moniker, Archy Marshall has been steadily releasing new music throughout 2017. With an open schedule and spot on this years Coachella lineup, we expect a showcase this year at SX to definitely make moves on snagging him for their lineup.

Highly Suspect: These Massachusetts alternative rockers have been climbing the charts lately with hits such as “Serotonia” and “My Name is Human”. They have a tour beginning March 23 in Dallas and this years festival would be a great kicking off point to raise their bar in 2018.

Cigarettes After Sex: Appearing on a few artists to watch in 2018 lists and a tour starting in late March, these El Paso ambient pop rockers could for sure make an appearance at a showcase during this year’s festival.

FKJ: After performing at many festivals in 2017, this multi-instrument talented musicians could easily turn heads at SX. With a fully open schedule, we’ll mark him as definitely possible to make an appearance.

Greta Van Fleet: With a full-blown world tour beginning March 20 and hype levels reaching maximum capacity, SX would be a perfect outlet to launch them into what looks to be a big 2018 for the Zeppelin-esque rockers.

Lil Baby: One of the newest members of the Quality Control family, this ATL native has already got the south bumping. He has a tour ending March 15th in New Jersey with PNB Rock (another SX possible artist) and we expect QC to be back again this year with a showcase of their artists. Keep your eyes peeled.

PRETTYMUCH: This new boyband had a great 2017 and it doesn’t look to be slowing heading into this year. The fest would be a great jumping off point to establish further hype moving forward. With an open schedule we mark them as possible for sure.
