What: Budweiser Beer Garage

Details: Pack your rucksack and feel our modern homeland’s zeitgeist at the German Haus. If a biergarten is on your mind, have no fear! We sure wouldn’t open up the German Haus if there wasn’t some tasty beer, bratwurst, and most importantly direct & creative thinking involved. You are guaranteed to find lively discussions, panels, networking opportunities, parties, or showcases accentuating the latest of German talent.

What: 4th Annual ff Massive 2016
Where: Empire Control Room & Garage, 606 E 7th St, 1PM-6PM
Details: During the day, we’ll be hosting discussions around tech and startups with some of the best in the industry. Plus interactive installations, a tech fair, networking, food, drinks, and more. Come night time, we’re turning up the volume with more mingling and performances by Just Blaze, Key N Krates, Lucky Chops, Goldfish and Louis the Child, to name a few.

What: Brooklyn Defender Arcade
Where: Waller Creek Pub, 603 Sabine Street, 2PM-6PM
Details: Head to Waller Creek Pub on Sunday, March 13 from 2-6 PM for a celebration of the Defender and a break from the madness of the fest. There’s no better way to recharge than plenty of beer (and if you arrive during the first hour, it’s free). The Brooklyn Brewery is packing the pub with vintage arcade games, and we’ll have Brooklyn Lager, Pilsner, and the hero, Defender IPA to fuel your long-dormant video game rivalries. Austin artists will be on hand to create joyful art in front of your very eyes. Fancy a super-hero caricature of yourself? The Brooklyn Brewery has you covered. They will also be joined by Jeremy Buzek of Ten Pixels Tall playing chiptune music on an array of Gameboys, which you really have to see to believe.
