Ed. note: This is Round 7 in our SX 2014 rumor round up. Read Round 1, Round 2, Round 3Round 4Round 5 and Round 6. This round of rumors comes from the master of reading tour schedules @CameronatSXSW. Much of the info we get comes out on Twitter first, so keep up with who to follow on Twitter for all things South By with our list of best users to follow. It definitely feels like the SXSW chaos is picking up a lot quicker and earlier than it has in years past. I mean, we’re already on our 7th rumor roundup… and there’s plenty more to come!

To start things off, lineup additions:  Kurt Vile, BANKS, Hieroglyphics, The Cynics, Madlib, J.Rocc, Jonwayne, Gangsta Boo (which leads us to believe Juicy J is inevitable), Bear’s Den, Boys Noize and plenty more have been added to the SXSW lineup. Schoolboy Q, Isaiah Rashad, The Hold Steady, Laura Mvula, Nas, Flosstradamus, and at least some part of A$AP Mob, haven’t been officially added yet, but it was revealed that these artists will be coming via Pitchfork/BrooklynVegan, Stereogum, Music-News, the SXSW blog, and the StupidDope/The House of VANS lineup.

The Maverick Music fest in San Antonio is one week after SXSW, and the lineup is stacked with SX artists. But it also includes Run The Jewels and Washed Out — we think since they’ll be just down the road right after the fest, it’s pretty good confirmation for SX shows.

Our friends over at Mischief Magazine are hearing some things about possible Skrillex shows, and with collaborator Boys Noize being confirmed, I’m expecting them to team up to perform as Dog Blood.

The now defunct Swedish House Mafia have been a rumor for a while because they’re premiering a documentary at SXSW Film. While I was skeptical of a reunion performance at first, it has now been confirmed that all three members will be in attendance… so, who knows?

Rapper Yelawolf’s tour kicks off on 3/20 in Colorado, making a SXSW appearance likely.

Although UK post-punk band Savages will be in Europe before and after SXSW, the 14 day gap in their schedule makes them a possibility.

Kate Nash was added to a Ft. Worth “SX spillover” fest, which leads me to believe that she’ll be returning to SXSW for the first time in 6 years.

SXSWhoa dug up an old blog post from Speedy Ortiz discussing their intentions to perform at SXSW, and if you look at their tour schedule, the TX shows surrounding the fest make it obvious.

A little birdie has informed me that there’s a legitimate chance that Brand New might finally come to SXSW… but that’s all I can say on the subject for now.

In recent – “Does this mean anything or are these just Twitter antics?!” – news, Last week, I found out that Comedy Central has booked a venue for SXSW.  Then, I tweeted about wanting Workaholics to return to SX to follow up their crazy party in 2012. After the tweet gained traction, Comedy Central followed me and favorited the tweet. Does that actually mean something or am I reading too much into it? Is the CC venue simply competition for the IFC House? SXSW comedy events have certainly increased this year on the official side, so there’s hope of promotions like another Workaholics party to happen again this year.

Lastly, I tweeted about John Legend kicking off his tour directly after SXSW, and was wondering if he’d make a trip to Austin. Famous interviewer Nardwaur favorited the tweet. It seems silly to read too far into something as trivial as that, BUT if you remember last year,  a somewhat similar thing happened that revealed that Joey Bada$$ was headed to SX. If anyone is in the know, it’s Nardwuar of course.
