We’re pretty excited this morning due to the love from The Guardian in their SXSW guide. Keeping with the high energy, our friends Flying Turns made an exclusive mix for us to share – it’s a perfect soundtrack for RSVPing (but y’all don’t have to worry about that!) or getting through your work day.
Flying Turns is a 5 man vinyl DJ crew from Austin, TX. United in 2010 under the banner of disco, house, and donuts, Flying Turns are known for rocking unconventional venues ranging from Ethiopian restaurants to furniture-making warehouses. 2013 marks a shift in focus towards music production and will hopefully bring them one step closer to owning a donut shop of their own. They’re official SX artists this year, and we’ll keep you in the loop on where you can catch up IRL come SXSW. PS, if you live in Austin, they’re throwing a party this Saturday.
