Austin music institution (and the best record store… ever) Waterloo Records hosts three days of parking lot/in-store performances – all free, with NO RSVP. The full line-up can be viewed above, but we’re especially excited for our friends Rickey Jean Francios, who will be making their SX debut.
Another Free/NO RSVP show — For their 4th year at SX, Music for Listeners, moves across the street from their former venue (RIP Red House) to Flattop Burgers (how they are going to pull off this many bands in a small space remains to be seen, but this show is in our ‘hood, so we thought it deserved a nod). The line-up, curated by San Antonio-based radio program of the same name, has bands from all over the globe, and a full schedule can be downloaded on their site. Only downside: why did nobody think to book Cheeseburger?
