We’re just as excited for all the bands coming from across the world for Southby as we are for the shows organized by and featuring some of the Austin’s most interesting talent. These shows are very under-the-radar compared to some of the massive downtown events, but are worth noting and attending, especially if you’re visiting ATX.
For the 6th year, purveyors of all things progressive and avant garde The Awthum Empire along with synth suppliers Switched On present Awthumfeth 6666 happening at East Austin’s Wurhaus studio (5305 Bolm Rd. #2). This pre-festival, majority local/unsigned bands bill features noise rock, neo-soul, and melodramatic spaced-out trance starting at 2PM till 10PM on Tuesday, March 15th. All ages. No RSVP needed.
