RSVPster isn’t new to the game, but others have been the Southby block a time or two, and have the party knowledge to show for it.
There’s a list of who you should be following on Twitter to always be in-the-know:
@SXSWFreeNoms: Being honest, RSVPster hates the term ‘noms’. It’s terrible, and no one should use it. Ever. But, this guy is more on it with the food coverage than anyone else, and is forever helpful in the quest for free BBQ.
@sxswist: The Austinist account links the website’s band interviews and sends out notices for RSVPs (psssh, you have us for that). Plus, Austinist throws an annual day party, and compiles a helpful spreadsheet of events for Film, Music, and Interactive.
@SXSWPartyList: This twitter feed/tumblr site knows where da party at, and will tell you.
@drunkatsxsw: This ‘real talk’ feed is a work in progress, but here’s an example of the advice gems you’ll get my following: “No hotel for SXSW? Do what we did and book a barstool at Mugshots. Makes it easier to get a beer when you wake up.”
@sxswbaby: This unofficial weblog and discussion forum gives you place to talk about all of the fun you had/will have/are having on the internet.
@atxhipsters: If @atxhipsters doesn’t know about it, it didn’t happen.
@unofficialsxsw: Free beer! Parties! Free parties! Free beer parties!
@bvSXSW: Brooklyn Vegan bloggers tweetin’ from the scene at SXSW.
