SLASHATHON IS THE FIRST EVER ARTIST-FOCUSED HACKATHON.
The premise for the hackathon is to give developers a chance to develop applications and technology that can be used for Slash’s upcoming album release.
The ideas for the applications and technology can include anything and take any form as long as they can be used in the marketing for the album and have to be built during the one-day hackathon.
SLASHATHON RULES
To participate in the hackathon, you must be either a designer or a developer.
None of the hacks can be built prior to the competition and must be built on site during the hackathon.
All hacks must be centered on promoting and marketing the new album release, though you have free reign to create whatever you would like.
All of the hacks must be responsive with a standard mobile and web presence.
All of the hacks must capture email addresses as part of the process of using the hack.
