Kendrick Lamar is playing the Pot of Gold Music Festival in Arizona from 3/13 to 3/17, leaving him open for music. Could this be who a brand like Samsung gets for their big show this year?
Knife Party’s European tour in Singapore on 3/13, and they’re open until 3/29 when they play Ultra Music Fest in Miami.
Martin Garrix is in Australia on 3/9 for the Future Music Fest, then open till 3/27 when he plays UMF.
R. Kelly is in Texas on 2/15, then completely open through 3/19. That gives him 3 days at the beginning of the music part of the fest. He also has 3/22 open after 2 days in Florida.
Yelawolf is a regular at SX, and his schedule is open except for 3/22.
Screaming Females are in Houston on 3/17, then open from 3/18 – 3/21, followed by a show on 3/22 in Dallas, making a stop in Austin very likely during the fest.
Royal Blood just announced their spring tour, which doesn’t start until April, and have no scheduled dates in TX.
Theophilus London is on tour with confirmed SX artist Father, which means a stop in Austin after the tour ends on 3/8 could be likely.
Beats Antique are currently on a festival circuit tour with available dates from 3/15 – 3/22 for SX, followed by the McDowell Fest on 3/29 in Arizona.
McDowell Mountain Fest artists:
The fest runs from 3/27 – 3/29, a couple of days after the festival in Phoenix, Arizona. Artists that are playing McDowell Mountain Fest that could show up in Austin: Passion Pit, Phantogram, Portugal. The Man, Slow Magic, STRFKR, and Thievery Corporation. The only confirmed artist that both festivals share is Robert DeLong.
