[/wide]We kept getting emails from bands from all over the world asking about playing Southby parties, and thought there should be a way for these bands to find gigs with ease. So, we created a listings page where any band in Austin from March 9-18th can post a ‘classified’ ad with a photo, bio, link to music/website, and add the dates/times available for playing a show. It’s like a Craigslist for gigs, you guys.
We’re hoping this can help both bands from Austin and those driving in from God-kn0ws-where pick up some gigs in empty lots, house parties, large venues, or bars. We’re also hoping this page can lend some exposure to hustlin’ artists.
Promoters: if a band is listed, feel free to listen to what they’ve got and contact them directly to fill out the bill for your party.
Bands: post your best OkCupid-style profile, we’ll approve the info before it goes live, and get contacted about playing shows.
